Veronica Contract and Risk Manager, Environment Agency commented "The Environment Agency supervises and works with other organisations to manage the risk of flooding and coastal erosion in England. It also directly manages flood risk from main rivers, the sea and reservoirs. In this role, we are happy to be a founding partner with the Community of Practice on Managing Construction Risk and fully endorse CIRIA’s aspirations in launching this initiative. We actively seek to engage with fellow professionals to share our practice, learn from the experience of others and to optimise the delivery of our construction projects for the benefit of the public. The management of risk on construction projects is an important part of our policies, decision making and practice."
